NOTCHED EDGES & LEVELLERS
Notched Edge Tool Design
The design of our notched edge tool is based on checking the length of the fretboard that is capable of being deflected. The highest frets are omitted as these are past the neck join and won't be affected by truss rod adjustments. This keeps the number of notches down to 18 and the unique design of the notch spacing allows use for multiple scales across the ranges specified. An anti-tip prevents the tool from toppling over, allowing it to remain positioned on the neck during setup and adjustment, & provides real time observation of changes to the guitar neck and relief.
Fret Leveller Design
Our fret levelling tools have been specially designed to utilise regular 25mm wide abrasive roll or strips cut from standard sheets. This feature enables any abrasive grit of preference to be utilised. Adhesive backed abrasive is not required. The fret levellers are universal and can be used with or without strings fitted.
