GUITAR NECK PRESS SYSTEM - With sliding neck caul

DESCRIPTION
Our Guitar Neck Fret Press is a complete fretting system suitable for guitar necks with straight or angled headstocks.

DESIGN FEATURES
Easy alignment of fret and caul.
Even fret pressure distribution over full length of the fret.
Full support underneath the neck including the heel transition.
Neck can be fully extended either side of the press without toppling of the support.
All in one solution eliminates multiple different tools.
Screw operation provides full control over the fret insertion process.

Grooved rubber underside and adjustable legs for stability.

NECK CAUL
Made from high quality oak and covered with soft felt, the caul supports the full length of the guitar neck including the heel. The felt covering and rounded shoulders cushion the neck profile. The stepped section of the caul safeguards the support underneath the neck when fretting over the transitional profile at the heel. Two thin rubber strips are included for placing underneath thinner neck heels.
 
The included caul is designed for use with 6-string guitar necks. A caul suitable for 7-string guitars can be supplied as an alternative.
 
NECK CAUL ALIGNMENT STRIP
Machined from beech, the strip is attached to the centre of the base. This ensures the caul is central underneath the press and provides a smooth transfer between frets. (See video).
(Note that the underside of the neck caul block is fitted with a tapered wedge, machined @ 0.25 degree in order to keep the fret heights constant as the neck thickness changes).
 
SIMPLE CAUL CHANGEOVER
Wind the screw down, swap cauls and wind back up (See video). 
 
PRESS OPTIONS:-
OPTION 1 - is supplied with a 10 radii-set of flat section radiused fret cauls - 75mm wide:
7.25", 9.5", 10", 12", 14", 15", 16", 17", 20" & Flat.
The cauls have a flat cross section permitting a small amount of misalignment between fret and caul.
 
OPTION 2 - is supplied with an 11-radii set of grooved cauls - 75mm wide:
7.25", 9.5", 10", 12", 14", 15", 16", 17", 18, 20" & Flat.
