The DIY Fret Press is designed for mounting onto the underside of a beam. The maximum thickness for a simple beam is 40mm. If using a thicker beam, rebating for the press unit would be required.
A suitable solution is to utilise hardwwod or CLS timber as per illustration.

Drill a 9mm hole in the centre for the press screw clearance.

Place the press unit onto the beam, locating the press screw into the previously drilled hole. Drill 2-holes 4mm for the fixing screws.

Fasten the mounting plate using the screws supplied.

Fit the locknut and handle and tighten with a 13mm A/F spanner.

SYSTEM BENEFITS:
High Pressing Force.
Fine Control.
Fast proficiency with use.
Spans the guitar body for through-neck guitars.
Provides even distribution of fret pressure.
Avoids indentations.
Ensures proper fret installation.
