GUITAR FRETSAW - 4 Fixed Depth Options - 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.5mm

Guitar Fretsaw with hardwood handle.
4 precision depth versions are available - 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.5mm.
The depth of fret slot is fixed for each version.
Supplied with 5x 32tpi blades.
Nominal Kerf Width 0.023" / 0.6mm.
 
The saw is suitable for cutting fret slots across flat fretboards. The fixed depth feature ensures consistent slot depth and visual appearance at the sides of the fretboard. The saw can be used for revisiting the slots after radiussing, without worry of increasing the depth, or for cleaning slots before fitting frets.
 
The 2.5mm saw is also used in our range of fret slotting jigs.
 
SAW BODY DESIGN
The fretsaw is manufactured in our workshop from stainless steel and is rigidly designed providing full blade support for efficient cutting. The blade is retained on the saw body by a single allen head screw.
 
SAW HANDLE
The saw handle is turned from beech and fitted with a steel ferrule. The handle has a slight tapered profile for comfortable grip.
 
BLADE SPECIFICATION
Premium Quality Blades (manufactured by Sandvik).
5x 32TPI saw blades - Maximum Width 0.023" / 0.6mm.
Each blade is individually inspected using a Precision Toolmakers Go Gauge.
 
VERSATILE USE
The blades are suitable for cutting metal or wood at shallow depths and the tool can be used for a variety of tasks. We recommend keeping a dedicated blade if used for cutting frets or similar hard materials.
