BASIC GUITAR FRET PRESS - For Solid Body Guitars & Necks
Basic Press Frame for use with solid body guitars and guitar necks.
CONSTRUCTION:
Rigid Stainless Steel Cross Beam.
Aluminium Support Posts With Height Adjustment & Locking Screws.
Stainless Steel Screw Press Mechanism With Torque Handle.
Hardwood (Oak) Bottom Member.
DESIGN
The fret press comprises of 2 extruded aluminium posts fitted with an adjustable height press beam. The distance between the posts is 320mm.
The beam height is adjustable and secured by tightening the thumb screws and adjacent locking screws. The support posts are fixed to a solid oak bottom cross member.
EXCLUDED FROM SUPPLY
Base resting board & fret cauls are excluded. See below for details.
RESTING BOARD GUIDELINES
A plywood resting board should be mounted over the bottom member and fastened using the fixing holes and screws provided. The board should be a maximum 320mm width and be fitted with 25mm battens on the underside to match the bottom member thickness. The recommended board thickness is 18mm.
FRET CAULS
Fret cauls are available separately enabling the press to be tailored to your own requirements.
