SLIDING NECK CAUL - Optional Feature For Full Guitar Fret Press

The Sliding Neck Caul is an optional feature that extends the Full Guitar Fret Press for Bolt-On Neck use. It ensures smooth transfer of the neck and precise alignment of the frets for more efficient fret installation.
 
NECK CAUL
Made from high quality oak and covered with soft felt, the caul supports the full length of the guitar neck. The stepped section of the caul ensures continuity of neck support when fret pressing over the transition area and heel. The felt extends to the outside of the caul for adaptability to different profiles. A rubber strip is included for placing underneath the heel of thinner necks.
 
The neck caul is suitable for 6-string guitar necks. A 7-string version can be supplied as an alternative.
 
SLIDER BLOCK
Machined from oak, the slider block position can be adjusted lengthwise underneath the press to suit the particular application. The block is secured in place using the fretting station base clamps.
