FRETBOARD RADIUS SANDING TOOL - Sand any radius between 7.25" & 20"

ERGONOMIC DESIGN
The tool handle is made from oak and provides comfortable 2-hand use with effective sanding. The rear of the block features a 45-degree pushing face. The front features a thumb recess.

LOW COST ABRASIVE
The system utilises high performance, low cost 150mm diameter abrasive discs.
5x discs each, of P80 & P120 grit are provided.
The discs are high quality stearate coated aluminium oxide abrasive.

FRETBOARD RADIUS SANDING PLATES
5 Radii Plate Set - 7.25", 9.5", 12", 15" & 20".
 
The sanding tool plates are 75mm wide x 150mm long with rounded ends to match the abrasive disc. The plates are interchangeable on the tool body and fastened with 2 countersunk allen head screws on the underside. When fitting new abrasive, the overlaps at the tool sides can be trimmed at the edges or folded back and utilised at a later time by rotating the abrasive around.

UNIVERSAL USE - Sand any radius between 7.25" - 20".
To sand a fretboard radius that doesn't correspond to a particular tool plate, a larger radius plate should be selected.
Example:
For a 14" fretboard radius, use the 15" plate.
For a 17" fretboard radius, use the 20" plate.
Sand the radius as per the plate size then alter to the desired radius by biasing extra pressure at the side of the tool, repeating this on both sides. Progress can be compared with a radius gauge.
 
FINISH SANDING USE
The tool plates can also be used comfortably without the handle to finish the board using fine glass paper or similar abrasive.
