ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT FRET PRESS
The fret press system comprises of 2 extruded aluminium posts fitted with an adjustable height press bridge made from oak. The distance between the insides of the posts is 320mm.

The posts are fixed to a 25mm thick bottom cross member, also made from oak. The bottom member has two M8 fixings for attaching the main guitar support board.

The screw press mechanism is mounted at the centre of the bridge. A single turn of the handle is typically required to press the fret into position after initial pressure.

The bridge height is adjustable and secured by locking screws at each side. Extra locking plates and bottom stop plates are also fitted. The maximum opening height is 130mm.
 
MAIN GUITAR SUPPORT BOARD
The main guitar support board is made from 18mm thick marine plywood and fitted with adjustable feet underneath each corner. The board is secured over the bottom member of the press using M8 countersink screws at each side. The board can be positioned centrally, towards one end or at an intermediate position. The support board dimensions are nominally 600mm x 300mm.
 
EXTENSION SUPPORT
The extension support is made from 18mm marine plywood and tucks underneath the end of the main support board. The extension support dimensions are nominally 300mm x 200mm.
 
GUITAR BACK PROTECTOR
The guitar back protector is made from Tufnol sheet and covered with felt. This provides protection for the guitar back and smooth positioning and movement underneath the press. The guitar back protector is 600mm long x 200mm wide.
 
GUITAR HEEL WEDGE
The guitar heel wedge provides support underneath the heel/neck join for angled guitar bodies. As all guitars differ, care should be taken to ensure the support is adequate for the particular guitar and supplementary packing fitted if necessary.
 
ADJUSTABLE GUITAR NECK SUPPORT
The neck support height is adjustable between 35mm – 75mm and is designed to suit a strat type neck at its lowest position or an angled body type/les paul at the highest position. The support is intended for use specifically underneath the press where the neck is horizontal and not subjected to any side forces or rocking movement.
 
FULL SET OF PRESS CAULS
The system is supplied with 75mm wide stainless steel cauls (10 piece set) - 7.25", 9.5", 10", 12", 14", 15", 16", 17", 20" & Flat. The cauls have a flat cross sectional contact face. This affords easy seating on the fret and allows a small degree of angular and radial misalignment between the press caul and fret.

A Guitar Neck Caul will allow the press to be used for fretting detached necks.
