9" FRET LEVELLER - For Shorter Scale Instruments & Spot Levelling

The 9" fret levelling tool is adaptable for various uses including:
 
Spot-levelling local areas and high frets.
Working on instruments with shorter scale lengths including mandolins & ukuleles.
Creating fall-aways typically from the 12th to 24th frets on regular scale instruments, where a gradual lowering of the frets is sometimes required to eliminate string buzz.  
 
The tool features a solid oak handle, bonded to a machined aluminium fret levelling rail and is suitable for conventional use, or beneath the strings at tension. 
 
ABRASIVE
The tool is available for purchase individually, or with 4 strips of 400 grit abrasive. Additional adhesive-backed abrasive can be bought from the menu.
 
OPTIONAL STRING RAISER
The menu features an optional string lifting bar designed for leveling beneath the strings.
 
The curved bar profile naturally settles on the fretboard, fitting both radiused and flat fretboards. A small silicon rubber strip is included to place beneath the bar to safeguard the fretboard.
